This story begins In 1999 at The Philadelphia Bar & Grille, a small bar owned by an Irishman, a father, and a husband. Out went the pool table, and in came a tiny stage, setting the scene for something extraordinary.

Why? Well, Karen Saillant  (our star firecracker) had a vision – a place where her talented singing students, who had worked with the likes of Quest Love, Mutlu, G. Love & Special Sauce, Amen Dunes, David Cope, and more, could showcase their original music. And just like that, The Fire was born.
